This opportunity is primarily based at our Brookevale office on permanent full-time basis.As a WorkReady Consultant, you will work with people with disability between the age of 15-65 and support them in preparing and finding a meaningful work. As a consultant, you will help build confidence, identify and develop key job skills including resume and cover letter writing, find suitable study options to reach their employment goals, and overall create a positive employment experience.If you have a genuine interest in making a difference in someone’s life, then we want you!A typical day as a WorkReady Consultant may include:Developing a person-centred plan with each participantIdentifying employment and education goalsCoordinating work experience placementsFacilitating individual and group-based training sessionsCoordinating and attending social events and excursionsProactively engaging with employers to secure opportunities for participantsThis role requires travelling between sites from time to time to support the WorkReady team.About You:To be successful as a WorkReady Consultant, prior experience in Employment Services, NDIS, education or youth work is highly desirable (but not essential).
