The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance in relation to WHS, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.  Hours: Permanent Part-time, 16 hours per weekLocation: Sydney however, candidate from Hunter and Coffs Harbour maybe considered.Salary: From $88,000 per annum (Full-time equivalent) + super and $15,900 in salary packagingReporting to: Chief Human Resources OfficerResponsibilities (but not limited to):Work alongside HR Business Partners, Senior Managers and leaders across Ability Options to develop and execute WHS plans and strategies to support business requirements.Develop and lead WHS awareness campaigns across the organisation.Work with HR colleagues, Senior Managers and leaders to develop the Ability Options’ wellbeing approach and contribute to employee experience projects.Build a range of safety and wellbeing models adapting and improving following feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.Provide support, guidance and coaching to managers in all aspects of WHS and wellbeing.Analyse WHS data and develop plans with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to improve safety and wellbeing for a better employee experience.Essential Criteria:Tertiary qualification in relevant field or demonstrated experience in WHS and wellbeing.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and SafeWork Best Practices.High level of written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Ability to develop data analysis skills and produce reports to inform decision making.Understanding of working with others to influence change.Benefits:Flexibility: At Ability Options, we offer flexible work arrangement with the ability to work from home.  Salary Packaging: Increase your take-home money with $15,900 not-for-profit salary packaging through Maxxia: Salary Packaging | MaxxiaTraining and career progression: Ongoing career development support and opportunity to work with experienced leaders. Mental Health and Wellbeing: A dynamic EAP partner who supports our staff with free confidential counselling: We Offer Comprehensive Wellbeing Support For Your Organisation - Workplace Options - Australia.
