We respect and value the contribution of people from all cultures, backgrounds and beliefs, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people and people with disability. The RoleWe are currently looking for energetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Central Coast Accommodation Services team in Hamlyn Terrace.As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively within the team to support and provide service to participants in line with the values of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Helping participants explore their interests and hobbies through range of programs and recreational activities.Transporting participants to events and appointments.Admin duties such as completing progress notes, charts and incidental reports.Providing personal care including toileting, showering, dressing and feeding as required.If this is you and you have a genuine passion and caring attitude towards individuals living with disabilities, then we are looking for you to come and work for us!Uni/college students and those looking for career change are welcome to apply.Essential Requirements of the role:Demonstrated experience in working with people with complex, high support needsWillingness to assist with personal careCurrent NSW driver licence (minimum P2)Working with Children’s Check (paid employment)Current NDIS Workers CheckCurrent First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)Certificate III in Disability Services (desirable)Full availability for a 24/7 rosterRight to work in AustraliaPlease note: This role is on a 24/7 roster, so you will need full availability for days, afternoons, nights, sleepovers and weekends with the potential to work across multiple sites.
