We respect and value the contribution of people from all cultures, backgrounds and beliefs, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people and people with disability.The RoleWe have multiple permanent part-time, full-time and casual Support Worker positions available in Port Stephens – Nelson Bay offering flexible work hours across 24/7 roster to suit all schedules.Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work collaboratively within the team to support and provide service to participants in line with the values of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Ensuring participants are living a full and active life by applying a range of skills, knowledge and experiences.Helping participants explore their interests and hobbies through range of programs and recreational activities.Transporting participants to events and appointments.Admin duties such as completing progress notes, charts, and incidental reports.Providing personal care including toileting, showering, and feeding as required.Domestic household duties such as cooking, and cleaning as required.If this, is you and you have a genuine passion and caring attitude towards individuals living with disabilities, then we invite you to come work with us!
