We respect and value the contribution of people from all cultures, backgrounds and beliefs, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people and people with disability. The RoleLocation: Casuarina Grove, NSW (some travel required across multiple sites)Employment: Permanent Part-time, 24 hours per weekWe are currently looking for energetic and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Casuarina Grove on the Central Coast.  Your role will be to coordinate and deliver quality nursing and support services which promote the improvement in quality of life and fosters independence for people with disability who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs.You will need to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, work collaboratively and achieve individual and team goals and targets;You will build working relationships with specialist medical services, local community partnerships (including families and carers) and with other stakeholders both within and external to Ability Options.Essential Criteria:Satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR (HLTAID011) A current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Current driver licence (minimum P2)Have personal mobile device that meets our system requirements (i.e. for Apple: iPhone 7 or later; for Android: devices released in the last three years)Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experienceProven experience working with those with complex support needsCommitment to people and providing quality servicesKnowledge of the Disability Service Standards Culture and BenefitsAbility Options is a value driven organisation where the people we support are at the centre of everything we do.
