The RoleThis role is internally known as "Mentor".Location: Gosford, NSWEmployment:  Permanent full time, 38 hours per weekRemuneration: $61,340 per annum + Super + Salary PackagingThis opportunity is available at our Gosford office on permanent full-time basis for an individual who is result driven and wants to make a real difference in someone’s life.As a mentor, you will be working with a diverse range of people and employer networks to achieve outcomes through ongoing coaching and support program. Mentor will partner with job seekers to plan, secure and maintain sustainable employment through sourcing and developing enduring employer and other stakeholder relationships that generate employment opportunities.The mentor will conduct initial customer assessment, create detailed action plan and facilitate group learning activities. You will be passionate about enhancing customer experience and motivated to succeed with a proven track record in meeting KPIs, building relationships and displaying a resilient attitude.Your experience and background in sales, administration, retail, call centre or customer service will be highly advantageous for this role.If you have a genuine interest in shaping lives and creating employment opportunities for jobseekers, then we are looking for you to come and work for us!As part of this role, you will be required to travel within your region.Essential CriteriaDemonstrated resourcefulness to deliver skill based training sessions to build capacity for employmentAbility to support job seekers to achieve their goals through employment outcomesAbility to deliver effective employment solutions to local businessesExcellent administration skills and ability to maintain thorough case notesLocal knowledge of the labour market and experience in placing clients into local employment opportunitiesExcellent communication skills in promoting job seekers to local employers and seeking future employment opportunitiesSatisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)    Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirementsExperience working with in the disability service sector highly regardedCurrent driver’s licence (minimum P2) Candidates with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience within the Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation, or Community Services or a similar type sector are highly desirable.We are wanting to hear from candidates who enjoy providing a positive customer and client experience, thrive in a target based environment, are motivated by exceeding their professional and personal goals and are looking for a career - not just a job.
