We are on the lookout for Support Workers to join the team in Hamlyn Terrace (Central Coast).

• Likes to work on a 24/7 flexible roster to suit their schedule (morning, afternoon and night shifts available)

• Enjoys building work relationship with community, participants and their families
• Has previous experience working with participants who have complex medical and behavioural concerns

The Role

We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to join our Accommodation Services team in Hamlyn Terrace in a casual capacity. You will have worked with variety of participants with complex care needs. 

As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively within the team to support and provide service to participants in line with the values of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Providing personal care including toileting, showering, dressing and feeding as required.
• Admin duties such as completing progress notes, charts and incidental reports.
• Helping participants explore their interests and hobbies through range of programs and activities.
• Transporting participants to appointments as required.

Essential Criteria:

• Ability and willingness to provide personal care and support activities of daily living in a residential setting
• Experience in working with individuals complex care needs
• Current driver licence (minimum P2)
• Satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check 
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
• Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (minimum 2 doses)
• Have a personal mobile device that meets our system requirements (i.e. for Apple: iPhone 7 or later; for Android: devices released in the last three years)
• Qualification in relevant field (desirable)
