You will monitor and manage business operations to improve performance and efficiency. As the Manager - Disability Employment Services (DES), you will be responsible for:Providing support to team in delivering sustainable placements for Job Seekers, meets government contractual requirements and achieve operational results.Coaching and mentoring staff to achieve employment goals resulting in excellent performance and a budget surplus.Maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including other employment team members, employers and community stakeholder.Apply advanced problem solving & decision-making tools across a wide range of policies, processes & proceduresPromote a positive work force and a supportive team culture.Lead and champion high performance across all areas of the business. This role is a great stepping stone for someone looking to pursue a career in leadership whilst also being able to remain hands on with our clients.As part of this role, you will be required to travel within your region.To be successful in this role you will be:An energetic individual who prides themselves on supporting others to achieve and accomplish their goals.A hands on coach and mentor who has the ability to empower both employees and customers.Naturally self- driven and enjoy supporting your team to be industry leaders.Highly organised, process driven and have great time management.A forward thinking individual who has the ability to take both customers and employees on a journey to success. Essential Criteria: Working knowledge of The Disability Services Act and Disability Service Standards.Proven supervisory leadership experience [2+ years] - coaching for performance.Demonstrated results focus - ability to meet/exceed agreed performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.Demonstrated ability to analyse, plan, negotiate, make decisions and prioritise tasks in line with service delivery demands.Satisfactory background check or willing to undergo including Police check and Working with Children CheckKnowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirementsCurrent NSW Drivers licence (P2 minimum)Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination (2 doses)Strong evidenced commitment to Ability Options’ Mission, Vision and Values Culture & BenefitsAbility Options is a value driven organisation where the people we support are at the centre of everything we do.
