The RoleAn exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic Rostering Administrator to move into our Business Support team on a 6 month max-term, part time basis. The primary purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for all stakeholders accessing the service and to facilitate engagement with staff and participants in line with strategic objectives.You will be required to coordinate the efficient delivery of support required by program participants through the cost-effective and award-compliant rostering of front-line Support Workers, while ensuring staff are appropriately matched to participant preferences.You will also be required to complete business administration tasks and be responsible for providing administration and secretarial support to the division and ensuring timely attendance to all phone calls and enquires, whilst providing exceptional levels of customer service.Essential CriteriaUnderstanding of applicable Modern Awards; including SCHADS Award, Nurses Award and Crown Award (CLA)Understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)Demonstrated experience or ability to develop competency in cost-effective and award-compliant rostering and associated databases/systemsProven ability to assess risk in the context of service delivery to a diverse range of clients, in a diverse range of settings, and the ability to implement risk mitigation strategiesProven ability to recognise opportunities for process improvement, and to propose and subsequently implement approved changes to processExcellent time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving and customer service skillsProven ability to communicate with and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, front line service delivery staff and service participantsIntermediate computer skills- Word, Excel, OutlookProven team playerValid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)NSW Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence (minimum P2)Desirable CriteriaUnderstanding of Human Services/Child Care/Disability SectorPrevious facilitation of training sessionsExperience working with WeConnectFor any queries regarding this role, please contact Jody Morphett via email: jody.morphett@abilityoptions.org.au AUD Bella Vista 2153
