The program focuses on creating vocational goals, life skills and sourcing real-life work experience opportunities. Classroom-based workshops allow participants to learn practical and soft skills for work in a group setting. With funding through the NDIS, participants are able to select which parts of the program will be most valuable for them, and you as their consultant will be able to tailor your approach. Your day-to-day tasks will include:Developing a person-centred plan with each participantIdentifying employment and education goalsCoordinating work experience placementsFacilitating group training sessionsCoordinating and attending social events and excursionsThis role will be based in our Penrith site.About You:To be successful as a WorkReady Consultant, prior experience in Employment Services, education or disability/youth work is desirable, but not essential.
