The RoleAs a Support Worker within our team, you will be supporting people in fun and social recreational activities and tailored support opportunities that are facilitated by the NBI team. You will encourage people to build on their strengths and assist them to achieve their goals.We are currently looking for a number of support workers to join our team that are reliable, flexible and have availability to work a roster from Monday to Sunday. Work flexibly, with a mix of morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience in working with people with complex, high support needsWillingness to assist with personal careCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent NSW drivers licence (P2 or above)Paid Working With Children Check clearanceIntermediate computer and digital technology skillsPrevious work or placement experience advantageous but not essentialCertificate III in Disability or Individual Support (desirable but not essesntial)This is an opportunity to join a team that works to enrich the lives of people living with a disability.
